Richard Onorevole Obituary
Saddle Brook
Onorevole, Hon. Dr. Richard E., resident of Saddle Brook formerly from Clifton. The beloved husband of Catherine H. (Belli) of 61 years, was called to eternal rest by his Lord jesus on Sunday, October 27, 2013.
His family was his treasure, his four sons: Richard M. and Marie C. (Mulhaul) of Rockaway, John and Patricia (Opperman) of Chester, NY, Joseph and Lisa (Murray) of Lafayette and Charles E. and Joanne (Morrison) of Mount Olive, three daughters: Marie E. Onorevole of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Nancy C. and her husband Michael Lennon of Long Valley, Joan H. and her husband John Bladek of Clermont, FL, nineteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and survived by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Carmen A., sisters Italia Edith Onorevole and Mrs. Clara (Rudy) Di Napoli. Prior to his retirement, he was Superintendent of Schools, Weehawken 1974-1990.
Funeral services shall be on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 8:30 AM from the Kugler Funeral Home, 311 Fifth Street, Saddle Brook and 9:30 AM Mass at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 488 Saddle River Road, Saddle Brook followed by entombment, Calvary Cemetery & Mausoleum, Paterson. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
