Robert Kasel Obituary
AGE: 54 • Mountain Lakes
Robert "Bob" Kasel passed away on October 17, 2011. He was 54. Bob was born in Darby, PA, and was a longtime resident of Mountain Lakes. After attending Lebanon Valley College, Bob began his career at Merrill Lynch. He excelled at Merrill Lynch in many different roles, most recently as a Senior Vice-President of Investments. In this role, Bob earned the respect and trust of many long-term clients and friends. He was also a dedicated 29-year member of Rockaway River Country Club where he could be seen on the golf course or playing cards with friends. We will remember Bob for his unmatched sense of humor, his gregarious nature, and ability to light up a room. His passion for his friends, clients, colleagues, and most of all, his family, will be sorely missed.
Bob was the beloved husband of Deborah Voelzke Kasel and treasured father of Jennifer Ann, Robert Francis, Jr., Brian William and Meghan Mary. Bob was the son of Ann Tighe Pollock and Francis X. Kasel, Jr. and cherished brother of Marianne Burke, Carol Glass and Diane Ward. His mother-in-law, brother and sister in-laws, as well as several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive him.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, October 21st at 10:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 10 N. Pocono Rd., Mountain Lakes with interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Boonton. Friends may call Thursday from 6-9 PM only at the Mackey Funeral Home (mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton.

Dear Kasel Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Bobby. We lived next door to him (on Morris Ave) and my brothers Frank and Tucker and I spent hours in the Kasel garage, building a wall, painting, decorating, playing cards, playing kick the can and generally having a great time.
