Robert W. Roff

Robert W. Roff age 81 passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021 with his loving devoted wife Mary Roff of 58 years by his side. He was born on May 10th 1939 in Morristown New Jersey and resided in Morris Plains NJ for 46 years before moving to Deerfield Beach Florida and Wall Township New Jersey. Predeceased by his parents Henry F. and Kathleen Roff, his beloved son Brian W. Roff and his brothers Henry A. Roff and William Roff. He adored all his children and grandchildren. Survived by his wife Mary Roff and Loving Daughters; Mary Ellen O'Malley and husband Michael O'Malley Daughter Eileen O'Callaghan and husband Glenn O'Callaghan along with his sweet granddaughter Makayla. Robert cherished his granddaughter Brittany Smith and her husband Timothy Smith along with his adorable great grandchildren Penelope and Shea. He will be missed deeply and remembered fondly by his family to include his dear sister Sarah Brady and her husband William Brady along with all his nieces and nephews. Robert took pride in being a devoted family man and would do anything for them. Robert graduated Morristown high school Class of 1958 and was a champion Javelin thrower. He proudly served his country in the US Navy on the USS Salamonie during the Vietnam Era. He was an electrician by trade and worked a full career at JCP&L for 37 years to provide for his family. Robert was fortunate enough to retire early to spend many years with his wife and family while also enjoying traveling to many places. He was known for his whitty charm and friendly personality. Robert was an avid Jets football fan and loved playing and watching golf over the years. In lieu of flowers any donations in his honor can be given to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for a cure for Parkinson's disease. Service to be held privately.
