Succasunna - Robert K. Willmot, Jr., 76, of Succasunna, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on June 20, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was born in Orange, NJ, the son of Robert and Alice (Martin) Willmot. He graduated from Chatham High School and Rutgers University with bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering. He worked for Hewlett-Packard for over 30 years, which took him around the world, promoting new technologies in the early computer era until his retirement in 1999.

Bob met his wife Ann (Ashby) Willmot while attending Rutgers University. Bob and Ann lived in Scotch Plains before moving to Succasunna in 1973.

Bob is best remembered as a loving husband, father & amazingly fun Pop-Pop. Bob loved spending time with his family, camping and boating. Family campouts on the islands of Lake George were a favorite vacation of theirs for more than 40 years and combined all of his favorite activities. Bob was known to be able to fix or build anything.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Ann; his daughter -- Wendy Myers of Houston, TX, her husband Greg, and grandchildren Peter and Madeline; his son — Robert Willmot III of Chatham, NJ, his wife Kelly, and grandchildren Mary Katherine, Robert IV and Kevin; his sister -- Katherine Rodgers of Morristown, NJ and her husband James.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 9th at 3 PM at Hillside Church, 113 S Hillside Ave, Succasunna, NJ 07876.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Randolph YMCA.
