Rose C. Verdi

AGE: 92 • Boonton

Miss Rose Verdi, 92 years old, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012, at Merry Heart of Boonton Twp., NJ. She was born in Boonton and was a lifelong resident. She was employed by Citizen First Bank, in Boonton; a lifelong member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 242; also a member of the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel; and a volunteer for the VA Lyons Hospital.

Rose was the beloved daughter of the late James and Angelina Verdi; loving sister of Rudolph Verdi, and the late Carmen, Columbus, James, Louise Lizzi, Jennie Morra, and Anna LoRusso; beloved Aunt of Vincent Verdi, Arthur Verdi, Coni deBruynkops, Frank LoRusso, Theresa Keezer, Michael LoRusso, James Verdi, and the late Flora DeSantis. She is also survived by 29 great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Friday, January 4, 2013 at 9:00 AM at Dangler Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main St. Boonton followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 910 Birch St., Boonton. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Boonton. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at funeral home. Letters of condolences may be posted at www.Danglerlewisandcareyfuneralhome.com.

Rudy,
So sorry for you loss, she was still my sister-in-law and she was good to me like most of the family. She will be missed. She is now with her Mother, Father and her brothers and sisters. Take care.
