Dear Nancy,
I am so sorry for your loss. I only found out today about Steve and cannot believe it. He was such a wonderful man, very helpful and always smiling. I'll miss him stopping by the farm to say 'Hey', chat a little and look for the turkeys/deer or hunt, he will not be forgotten. I believe the man that he was, he will always be with you and your family. May your memories comfort you in this time of true saddness and keep you strong. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Nancy, I played softball with Steve For the last 8 years and always told him I wanted to be like him when I grew up. He never grew up... That's why we always had so much fun. He was the one that got me back into it. He will be deeply missed but NEVER forgotten. Thanks coach I'll forever miss you!!!! Bob

Aunt Nancy, Barbara and Michael,

Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you all very much.

Uncle Stephen was a great Uncle. But to me he also was that person i thought of when someone would ask " What do you want to be when you grow up?" He was smart, funny, and was respected by all who met him. He is the reason i chose my Criminal Justice major in College. He just was a great man. We all will miss him greatly.

Nancy,

The best thing about family is knowing the value they carry in your life.

You and Stephen as an Aunt and Uncle, have always shown Shawn, Gary and Tracey what life is all about just by being the family that you are to all of us.

Our hearts will embrace that forever.

Dear Nancy:

My heart is heavy as I write this. It is so hard to believe that Steve is really gone. What a wonderful person he was and how blessed we were to have had him in our lives.

Steve was everything you wish you could be if you wanted to be a perfect man!! (He didn't think he was but we knew it!) His love and devotion to you (and yours to him) was something you could only see and admire and wish you had a small portion of in your own life. This was a match that was meant to be.

Through trials and tribulations, you two made it work and be something so very special. Steve loved his family above all else; his children and their mates and his precious grandchildren, who made him the happiest grandfather I know. The joy they brought to him radiated in the love you felt when he spoke of them.

His wonderful sense of humor, his acts of kindness and his very presence will long be remembered by each of us lucky enough to have know him.

I pray that every sweet memory will bring you joy and heal your tender heart at this very difficult time. We loved him dearly and always will.

Love,

Manuel Diaz

Dear Nancy,
As you mentioned to me this morning when you stopped by Town Hall, Stevie "loved" all the ladies at the office. I just want you to know that we ALL loved him very, very much and he will truly be missed. The office is not the same without his cheery "Hello" every morning and "Hey Mo". I will forever hold him close in my heart.
My deepest sympathy and love to you and your family,
Maureen Como and Family

I will always remember your wonderful spirit and friendship as we played softball together, when most people said we were to old to play. I never got to say goodby, but I can hear the words that we always said upon departing "see you next game Old Timer"... I lost a friend today, but kept his memory.
