Dear John, Carol, Michael, and Scott
May it help to know that relatives and friends are sharing the sorrow that is in your hearts.
Sue's life resonated as a whirlwind of marvelously exciting careers, adventuresome travels, and sacred family ties. She packed a whallop of memories in her 101 years, from which we all will now draw upon with her passing.
The embodiment of humor, refinement, culture and class, Sue never faltered in describing her beloved John. We fondly recall one poignant moment when she declared: "I'd breathe for John, if I could."
John, you stand as your mother's greatest legacy. She loved, nurtured, encouraged, and molded you into the man you are today: the consummate gentleman, the consummate professional, the consummate family man, and the consummate friend.
We can think of no greater legacy.
With our love and deepest sympathies,
Al and Kathleen Kareyva
