William Cornish Obituary
Boonton - William John Cornish, 71, of Boonton, passed away on April 7, 2021 at Care One in Parsippany. Born in Long Branch, William resided in Lincoln Park and Lake Hiawatha before settling in Boonton.
William worked in the manufacturing industry as a fork lift operator.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, with a Funeral Service to commence at 10:30 AM at The Dangler, Lewis and Carey Funeral Home, 312 West Main Street Boonton, NJ 07005. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Boonton. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerlewisandcareyfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in William's name be made to the Boonton Kiwanis First Aid Squad, PO Box 16, Boonton, NJ 07005.
William is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Barbara Cornish (Marhefka); his beloved son, William Joseph Cornish (Rosemarie); his loving siblings, John Cornish, Brian Cornish, and Louise Cornish; and many nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his siblings, Patricia Denistran, Maureen Lombardo, David Cornish, Thomas Cornish and Dennis Cornish.
During the COVID 19 pandemic, all persons entering the Funeral Home will be required to wear a face mask or face covering throughout their stay. Likewise, all social distancing rules must be adhered to. Gathering in groups should not happen. A continued flow throughout the facility will aid in keeping us all safe, with everyone having an opportunity to pay their respects.
