William Shaw Obituary
AGE: 87 • Madison
William "Bill" G. Shaw, 87, of the Madison area peacefully passed away on April 29, 2017. A funeral service will be held at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St in Chatham on Wednesday, May 3rd at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Somerset Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit from 9:30 to 11:30 prior to the service. For full obituary or to send a condolence, please visit

Born in Summit, Bill spent most of his life in the Madison area as well as Virginia. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Bill was the owner of Speedex in Florham Park and was a member of the Florham Park Volunteer Fire Dept.
Bill was the loving father of William Shaw (Mary), Gayle Shaw (Sara), Pamela Castelot (David), Janice Cavanagh (Brian) and the late Glenn Shaw. He is also survived by his grandchildren and his longtime companion Judith Walden, his sister Claire Joostema and brother, Peter Shaw. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to the St. Barnabas Burn Center.
