William Wild Obituary

WILLIAM J. WILD AGE: 89 HACKETTSTOWN William J. Wild, 89, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 in House of the Good Shepherd, Hackettstown, NJ. William lived in Hackettstown, NJ since the early 1970's coming from Cedar Knolls, NJ and was born in New York City, NY on Oct. 17, 1920. He was the husband of the late Helen (Sklas) Wild (1996) and the son of the late William G. and Emma (Letrishet) Wild. William was head of security at Novartis in Summit, NJ. He served in the US Army Air Corp 1942-1945 during WWII. William was a member of the American legion, V.F.W.; he loved photography, hunting, the Mets and Giants. He is survived by one Daughter, Margaret Kaceniak, Hackettstown, NJ; two Grandchildren, Margaret Wild and Joanne Bailey; two Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Dunster (2008). Visitation were held on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010. Services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010 at the Cochran funeral home. In lieu fo flowers, memorials may be made to the Hackettstown Rescue Squad, PO Box 201, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Interment was at Hackettstown Union Cemetery.
