On behalf of the members of the Greater Huachuca Men's Golf Club, I am proud to announce that the Board will vote of Wednesday, 25 August 2021 to permanently name one of our annual events in recognization of Craig. The official proposal is to name our annual Winter Open as the Craig Engel Memorial Winter Open. It is an honor to be able to recognize a former President of this club.

My deepest condolences to the Engel family. I was lucky enough to have many good times with Craig ranging from golf games to deep "philisophical" discussions at the 19th Hole to Scuba Diving trips in Mexico. Craig's sense of humor and honor will stay with me forever. God bless you all.

Deepest condolences to the Engle family. I am very sad to hear that my friend and retired Army colleague passed away. I enjoyed our time together on the Chain-Gang and golfing. Craig's quick wit, intelligence, and sensibilities will be missed. HIs legacy will forever be remembered!

Craig and I worked together for the Army, but most of all, we were good friends. I had the great fortune of having an office right next to Craig for 10+ years before he retired at the end 2016. We worked together on several projects and developed a real camaraderie. Craig liked to play his radio at his desk and he always had his "Gunslinger" hot sauce to put on whatever he had for lunch that day. He was an affable, conscientious, easy-going guy. We talked about the great plans he made to travel with his RV, go fishing, and play golf, of course. I'm glad he had an opportunity, as brief as it was, to do all of that. I used to joke with Craig about being a twin and say that I couldn't believe there was another person like him somewhere out there, but in reality, the world needs a lot more people like Craig in it. My sincerest condolences to the Engel family for your loss. Your brother is and will be missed by many.
