Elaine Jones
Elaine was born Elaine West on August 23, 1930 in Smith Center, Kansas The family moved to Thorp, WA where she went to school and married Orville Hatfield. Later Elaine met & married Milford Jones. After working for Boeing the family moved to Oregon and eventually settled in Dallas. After Milford's passing Elaine found a loving companion with Mac Nelson and they moved to Redmond, OR to be close to family.
She passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on March, 2, 2021.
Elaine was preceded in death by her son Dennis, son Roger Jones, her brother Kenneth West, husband Orville Hatfield and later, husband Milford Jones. She leaves her 3 sons Dan Hatfield and his wife Connie, Daryl Hatfield and Duane Hatfield and his wife Cheri as well as her daughter-in-law Bonnie Jones. Elaine had 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her 2 sisters Ev Donovan and Edy Poet and her husband Cal.
Elaine had a life long love for pinochle and joined groups everywhere she went. If there wasn't a group to join she started one. She also enjoyed crafts, sewing, word puzzles, computer games, reading and traveled extensively. Her bright smile and ready laugh was contagious to all who visited with her.
