Fred Bryant

Fred Bryant Sr., 80, passed away early Saturday morning May 20, 2023. He was born on February 18, 1943, in Ellensburg, WA. To Worth and Ellen (Benwy) Bryant. Fred was an avid hunter, fisherman and all-around outdoorsman. Many a deer and elk would fear when Fred entered the forest! In retirement he enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Fred worked many years and CWU as a carpenter. His love of family was strong, and Fred would never miss a family gathering. A family dinner would not be complete without Fred breaking out the playing cards and "showing" his grandchildren how a game of cards was won. Fred could not pass a yard sale on Saturday mornings without stopping; he was the owner of numerous tools and shoes; was a great storyteller and loved a good laugh. He will be missed.

Bryant is survived by his wife Jeanette (Wilson) Bryant; Kittitas, WA., son Freddie Bryant Jr. of Union Gap, WA., daughter Lacy (Gabe) Wagner; Selah, WA., stepchildren Dianna (Bill) Haberman; Ellensburg, WA, Darlene Espinoza: Naches, WA, and Darrin (Yvonne) Austin; Richmond, MO. Bryant is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Beau and Ben Bryant, Sage and Silas Wagner, Sierra and Joshua Tozer, Karina Espinoza, Valerie and Delana Martinez, Samantha and Jessica Austin and Masotta Pryor, and five great grandchildren. Also holding a special place in his heart were his nephew Rick Gilson and Adam Haberman.

Memorial service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Mercer Creek Church 1410 N Main St, Ellensburg, WA 98926, reception to follow.
