Patsy Garman Obituary
Patsy Ann Garman "Tutor", age 71 of Yakima, died Friday May 20, 2016 at Cottage in the Meadow. Patsy was born July 13, 1944 in Harrison, Arkansas to James "Jim" and Sarah Jane (Wallace) Potts. She graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1964. Patsy worked for Del Monte Foods for 38 years and retired in 2011.
She also bartended for many years at a few local taverns and was a member of The VFW, American Legion and Eagles. Friends all knew her as "Tutor" or "Pat" throughout the years she enjoyed dancing, bingo, poker and playing league pool and darts. She loved reading, time with her grandchildren and cooking big dinners for family and friends.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Michael Blake and Rebel Garman of Moxee, WA. Son; Hal (Mary Ann) Elsberry of Florida, and stepson Chris Garman of Georgia; 10 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Rex Potts of Ellensburg and Chuck Potts of Arizona. She is preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers; Buster Potts, Mack Potts, and Chick Potts.
