Patsy Gust Obituary
June 23, 1941 - July 30, 2021
Pasty Irene Gust, 80, passed away July 30, 2021. Patsy was born in Toppenish Wash to Vernon and Hazel Ransdell. Pasty's father died when she was very young and Her Mother married Larry (Dutch) Owen. Patsy grew up in the lower valley attending elementary school and High School. Patsy talked about working in the asparagus fields and Hop fields while growing up.
Pasty was loved throughout the community where she worked a variety of jobs and knew everyone.
Patsy married Ray Oversby in 1962, where they had 3 children, Steve, Timmy and Kristy.
Patsy and Ray divorced after 25 years of marriage. Patsy married Charles Gust and they were married until his death. Pasty moved back her house on S. Sprague St. Where she passed, with family and friends around her.
Patsy is survived by sister Donna Ransdell. Brothers Larry and Jack Owen. Son's Steve (Penny) Oversby, Timmy Oversby. Daughter Kristy (Jennifer) Oversby-Thompson. Grandchildren Andrew (Heather), Brooke (Allyn), Brandon (Jessica), Tyler, Zach, Nicholas, Davianna. Great grandchildren Daisy, Kolby and Bailey. Raliegh, Olivia and Carter.
Patsy had a Passion for people, Casino and being with family. She will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Life Potluck will be at The Gold Buckle Club on 9/18/2021 from 1p.m to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Legion 1101 Craig Ave., Ellensburg and Hospice Friends 302 E 2nd Ave., Ellensburg, WA 98926. Online condolences may be left at www.brooksidefuneral.com.
