Kristin Binsfeld Brender

Brender, Kristin Binsfeld, age 52, passed away April 2, 2014. Beloved wife of Kevin for 27 wonderful years. Loving mother of Neil, Melanie, Shane and Madeline. Loving daughter of Judy and the late Daniel J. Dear sister of Daniel Binsfeld, Lisa Binsfeld and Nicole Binsfeld. Kristin obtained her undergraduate degree in Journalism from Wayne State University in 1985 followed by a Masters degree in Communication. Kristin was employed many years as a Marketing Director at American Speedy Printing (Allegra) until she began to devote herself full-time to the raising of her four children. She was an active parish member of St. Blasé for 35 years. She was very proud of her work with TEAM Youth, a mentoring organization which changed the lives of many young people in the community. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Winning Futures, 27500 Cosgrove Dr., Warren, MI 48092 or Fr. Solanus Casey Center, 1740 Mt. Elliot, Detroit, MI 48207. Visitation Saturday and Sunday 3-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Scripture Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Monday 10:30 a.m. at St. Blasé Catholic Church, 12151 Fifteen Mile until 11 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
