Thompson, Richard J. “Rick”, of Royal Oak, age 55, passed away on January 25, 2015. Rick was born on August 17, 1959 to the late Paul A. and Georgette Thompson. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his three sisters, Paula, Barbara and Theresa. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Paula R. Thompson; his step-daughter, Gayle (Larry) Muglia; his grandchildren, Mikki (Brett) Miquelon and great-grandson, Tristan Miquelon, Josh (Janet) Muglia and Abbi, Rachel and Bekki Muglia. Survived by his brothers and sisters, Diane (Paul) Caron, Paul (Cherie) Thompson, Ken (Kathy) Thompson, Tim (Char) Thompson and Lynette (Charlie) Robison; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers. Inurnment with military honors will be on May 13, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
