Robert Henry Edge

EDGE, ROBERT HENRY, age 63 of Macomb, passed away March 3, 2014. He retired from the Detroit Police Department after 29 years of service as a Lieutenant and was a former Chief of Police for the Yale Police Department for 4 years. Bob was currently employed by the Detroit-Wayne Mental Health Authority Office of Recipient Rights as a Recipient Rights Adviser. Survived by his wife, Dee Trevino-Edge; children, Lisa (Vince) Hoyumpa, Brian (Erica) Edge, Michael Talmadge and Kelly (Jason) Goclik; grandchildren, Emily, Zach, Jonah, Molly Hoyumpa, Liam Edge, Alexandria, Andrew, Joshua and Sean Goclik; sister, Kathleen (Bill) Amell; sister-in-law, Barbara Edge and many extended loved ones and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Edge; siblings, Virginia Benson and Donald Edge and granddaughter, Sophia Edge. Visitation at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home, 46530 Romeo Plank, Macomb (between Hall and 21 Mile) on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 2-9 p.m. Rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mt. Clemens on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. (instate 10:30 a.m.).
