Chad M. Saucier

OPELOUSAS - A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas for Chad M. Saucier, age 36. Rite of Committal will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas with Msgr. Keith DeRouen Celebrant.

Chad passed away on Tuesday May 29, 2012 at Opelousas General Health System. He was a member of the Lions Club in Eunice. He loved the Medievel Period and enjoyed going to the Renaissance Festivals. He enjoyed camping, having crawfish boils, playing video games and all technology. He loved cooking all types of food and spending time with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leslie Ortego Saucier of Eunice, his father, Michael Saucier of Church Point, his mother, Kathy F. Saucier of Opelousas, his step children, John' Caleb, Laney and Leytin Pierrotti of Eunice, his brother, Brian Saucier and wife, Jamie of Iota, LA, his sister, Andrea Montgomery and husband, Shad of Youngsville, half brother, Mickey Saucier of Church Point, and half sister, Brittany Saucier of Church Point, maternal grandmother, Yvonne Fontenot of Opelousas.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alphan Fontenot, and paternal grandparents, Vionel and Aurelia Saucier.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, from 2:30 pm to 9:30 pm in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Thursday, visitation will continue from 8 am until 10:00 am in the funeral home. A Rosary service will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday evening in the funeral home.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Hildabrandt and the BMT clinic at LSU-Shreveport as well as the staff of OGH and Dr. Chancelor Donald-Oncology.

Chad, im so sorry you had to leave us so soon. God sent you as a gift to us, we loved our time with you and you left alot of great memories for us to cherish till we meet again. I will not let your godchild forget who you are , and what a great person you always were. Im so sorry I couldnt go see you ..forgive me..love always
