Opelousas - April 4, 1949 - August 7, 2017
Opelousas-- It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Gloria (Janey) Vidrine on August 7, 2017 at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette at 6:30 pm, with loving family surrounding her.
Survivors include her loving sons, Jeremy Vidrine of Baton Rouge, and Jason Vidrine and his wife, Bridget of Opelousas, LA., two sisters, Patricia Ogden of Silsbee, TX, and Diana McClelland of Arnaudville, La., one brother, John Dupre and his wife, Bessie of Woodville, TX., a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, her godchildren, Lois Gibbs, and Spencer John McClelland.
Preceded in death her loving husband, James (Billy) Vidrine, her mother, Angelle Meche Dupree, her father Clydis John Dupree, and her brother, James Dupree.
Visitation will take place at Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas, Saturday August 12, 2017 from 1pm until time of services. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm Saturday in the Sibille Funeral Home.
Words of Comfort to the family may be expressed at www.sibillefuneralhomes.com. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.

Diane, I just ready about Janey. I am so sorry to read of her passing. I remember her from the office we all worked at many many years ago in Opelousas. I know what you too may be going through as I just lost my only brother in Feb. of this year unexpectedly. God be with you and the family as you get through this very sad time.
