Terry Bergeron Obituary
OPELOUSAS - Funeral services for Mr. Terry James Bergeron will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park. Rev. Father Paul Bienvenu will officiate the services.
Mr. Bergeron was a longtime resident of Opelousas and was currently residing in Prairie Ronde. He passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at his residence. As a pastime, he enjoyed spending time with animals. He was a painter for over 30 years. He was a beloved son, father, and grandfather who will be missed by all.
Survivors include his mother, Louise Pace Bergeron of Opelousas; his companion, Celeste Graffagnino of Opelousas; one son, Brandon Bergeron of Opelousas; two step-sons, Tyler Bergeron and Damien Coulon, both of Opelousas; one daughter, Laci Bergeron of Baton Rouge; one sister, Cheryl Bergeron of Walker; granddaughter, Halie Bergeron of Opelousas; and two nieces, Mandi Bergeron and Amy Bergeron, both of Walker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lezie Joseph "J.B." Bergeron.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, August 9, 2012, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Friday, visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. A Rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening in the funeral home.

Sorry to here about my friend. Terry and I go back 40 years. I would go camping with his family as a kid and sleep at his house all the time. Terry had a good heart. He would give you anything you needed. I lost touch with terry about 15 years ago. I recently saw terry at my son chads funeral and we talked for a good while. He will be missed. God bless terry and his family and friends.
