Jeane was a special person ! We were neighbors over 50 years ago when our boys her youngest Andy and my oldest Don at four years old became best friends. And so did we.
I had never met anyone like her, she was a dynamo! I learned energetic determination and organizational skills from Jeane .I always told her she was my mentor! I became a single mother and she was always there for me. And I have to say, we had fun!! Our lives would go in different directions at times but we would always reunite like a day hadn’t passed. We traveled together, played golf together and made memories throughout our lives. I loved her and will miss her terribly!
My deepest sympathy and prayers and love go out to her wonderful family!

My Aunt Jeane was bigger than life. She lit up the room when she was around. As a young girl I wanted to be just like my Aunt Jeane. She inspired me to work hard and was a role model for women in business. The world is a little dimmer now that her light has gone out. She leaves a great legacy for her family. She was such a generous and thoughtful person. I will miss her dearly.

My Aunt Jeane was a very special person who always thought of others. She certainly had her hands full raising her three sons when we were all young ones. We used to spend a lot of time together on family outings. She was always a part of our lives once we grew up and became adults. I will miss her everyday until we meet again. My heart aches for her family during this difficult time. May God wrap his loving arms around each one of them to give comfort.

I met Jeane years ago while modeling at a luncheon at Neiman Marcus Willowbend. She loved to attend the luncheons and then shop afterwards. :) One of her favorite designers was Escada. When Jeane's sales associate told me about her stroke and that she had moved to the cottages I made it a point to visit her.

Our relation grow even stronger from there. Even though her speech was not always clear, we always had laughter and smiles. She would hold my hand and take me around the cottage introducing me to her friends or the staff members. She loved organizing and fresh flowers. I never knew Jeane to complain about her situation.

She would get so excited when she spoke of Fred, and always wanted to make sure her hair and nails were done.

We had a really nice and special relationship. Jeane my friend you will be dearly missed. To Fred and the family I am so sorry for your loss. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

Jeane Dobbs was a mentor, friend and traveling companion. We loved to play golf together and do many other things together. Jeane taught me so much about life, and what was really important. She was a great role model and inspiration to me. She will be deeply missed!
