JOY, Loquieta Loquieta Joy (Tims) Loquieta Joy (84) passed away August 23, 2021 due to complications of COVID Virus, in Dallas Texas. There will be no memorial service at this time due to the dangers of the pandemic on family and friends, Loquieta was born February 28, 1937 to Charlie and Addie Mae Tims in Newport, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Arnold Tims and sister Gaytha Saffold. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Berniece Landers and husband, Reese; daughter Cana Duffy and son Race Cargile and daughter in law, Anne; grandchildren, Camra Cargile, Ranger Cargile, Cutter Cargile, Bowie Cargile, Amelia Lupton, Cooper Duffy, Daniel Duffy and Madelin Duffy and 2 great grandchildren. Also numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Loquieta grew up in Bowie, and graduated from Bowie High School. Loquieta worked many decades for Willow Distributing in Dallas, Texas. She loved working with Love For Kids Inc in Dallas, Texas in 1975, a charity organization for underprivileged children Her ashes will be spread on her grandmother's (Cartoon Grandma) grave. A future memorial service will be held after Pandemic dangers have passed. Please contact [email protected] for questions concerning memorial.
