PRESLEY, Mary Byrnes 9/23/1957 - 12/25/2021 Our beloved Mary Presley, 64, of Kildare, TX, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Christmas Day. Mary was born in Springfield, MA, attended MacDuffie High School in Springfield, MA and graduated from Hollins College as a history major. Mary lived in Boston, MA, employed at the Arnold Arboretum, before moving to Texas. She married Thomas Presley of Dallas, TX in 1988 where they lived and raised their girls, Kadie and Layne. Mary held several marketing and advertising positions throughout her career, working with The Oakley Company, Krause & Young, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Oakley & Associates, Inc., and Worldwide Media. Mary spent the last eighteen years of her career with Citicorp. Mary is survived by her husband, Thomas Presley of Kildare, TX; daughter Layne Presley (Maria Elana Young) of California, daughter Kadie Wilson (Steve) and grandson West of California, stepchildren Phillip Presley (Gladys) of TX and Beth Lee (Jason) of TX; brother William (Jane) of Rockville Center, NY; sisters Josephine Gerweck (Thomas) of Longmeadow, MA; Cecilia Haraty (Richard) of Springfield, MA; Patricia Reh (William) of Ashley, PA; Elizabeth Wright (Daniel) of Longmeadow, MA; and Catherine Grant (James) of Longmeadow, MA; nieces Zo, Rachel and Emma; and nephews John, William, Samuel, Luke, Peter, Will and Ned. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. William and Joan Byrnes, and her brother, John Ignatius Byrnes. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Jefferson, TX. The family will hold a private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be sent to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, TX 75219.

So sorry to hear about Mary. I have wonderful memories of the fun times we spent together on Bellevue and up at the lakes. She was a good friend and a special person. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
