Nicholas Cathcart
1981 - 2021
CATHCART, Nicholas Nicholas ("Nick") Morris Cathcart went to his final resting place in Heaven on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Anyone who met Nick would agree - he knew how to live life to the fullest. Nick was gregarious, a natural charmer and loved being surrounded by family and friends. Sundays (and the occasional Monday night) were his favorite days of the week because he could watch his beloved Cowboys play. Every year Nick waited for August to come like a 5 year old kid on Christmas Eve because August marked the kick-off to his Fantasy Football League! Fantasy Football meant that for the next 18 weeks all of his friends would be discussing their football teams, trades, and a bit of friendly "trash-talk". When Nick wasn't dreaming of the Dallas Cowboys or Fantasy Football, he wanted to be at his family's place out in the country fishing. It didn't matter the size of the fish - Nick's reaction to catching any fish, even the smallest guppy, had you thinking he had landed a World Record marlin. Nick graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1999 and went on to University of North Texas to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and a Master's in Business Association in Marketing. After graduating from North Texas, Nick discovered he had a passion for not only sales but medical sales. He was awarded National Rookie of the Year - Medical Sales at Henry Schein in 2005. Nick is survived by his parents Paul and Sandy Cathcart, sister and brother-in-law Lauren and Brian Bollich, and his niece Caroline and nephew Nathan. Nick was a loving son, a protective older brother, and a loyal, genuine friend. He will be missed.

I have the great honor of knowing Nick professionally and socially. I enjoyed working and playing the course on occasion with him. He will be missed by all those who knew him. Thoughts and prayers from the Bjornson family to all who were close to Nick.

When he was at Henry Schein, we became good friends. I was much older than him, but he always let me tag around with him. Those memories will always be with me
