Betty Schley Obituary
Betty C Schley, 76, died on June 14, 2017 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford after a long illness Born on Oct 17, 1940 in Stamford, to Charles and Pauline Ralston She and her husband Edward Schley of 54 years, were residents of Darien for nearly 40 years After a successful career in real estate and working for Crate and Barrel, Betty retired in 2012 In addition to Edward, she is survived by her daughter, Deborah Wahlberg of Hingham, Massachusetts and her son, Michael Schley of Norwalk, a brother Charles Ralston of Sarasota, Florida, two sisters Charline Ziemba of Hamden, and Judy Thomas of Westport, two grandchildren, Madison and Ethan Wahlberg, and many nieces and nephews Mrs Schley will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Wednesday, June 21, from 5 to 8 pm A funeral service will be held at Edward Lawrence Funeral Home on Thursday, June 22, at 11 am
Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien Memorial donations can be made to Foundation for PSP/CBD at PSPorg
