Brenda Anne Jefferson Crink, 85, of Haverhill, MA went to be with her Lord in the wee hours of September 22, 2021. Brenda was born in Darien, CT on October 16, 1935 to her parents, Louis French Jefferson (1894-1944) and Anne Kunert Jefferson Blythe (1905-1993). She was predeceased by her brothers, Louis F. Jefferson, Jr., (Josephine), Edward Norman Jefferson (Mary), John Tarleton Jefferson (LouAnn), Thomas Jefferson (Mitzi), and Mark John Jefferson (Patricia). She is survived by her youngest brother, David I. Blythe (Debra) of Sheffield Heights, OH. Raised in Darien, she graduated from Darien High School in 1953 where she enjoyed playing on the Girls' basketball and field hockey teams. She continued her love for field hockey by playing with the club team, Stuyvesant, after graduation. She had many secretarial jobs throughout her life including the telephone company, Dorr Oliver, State National Bank (Stamford and Darien branches), Harley Davidson, Brinks, Ashflash, and Darien Town Hall Registrar of Voters. Most importantly was being Mom. Upon retirement she and her husband moved to Inverness, FL for 23 years until moving to Haverhill, MA to be closer to her daughter and family. She is survived by her husband, James W. Crink, her daughter, Wendy Crink Madden (Michael) of Boxford, MA and her grandchildren, Ryan, J. Douglas, Benjamin, and Erin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; Ellen J. Bell, John Jefferson (Neil), Robert Jefferson (Heather), Susan Jefferson Grant (Jeff), Stephen Jefferson, Michael Jefferson, Andrew Blythe (Stephanie), and Jennifer Blythe Springborn (Randy). In addition Brenda is survived by her cousin, Ann Louise "Nancy" Drury. Nephew, Richard Jefferson, and niece, Bethany Jefferson predeceased her. Brenda's life will be celebrated on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Spring Grove Cemetery, 41 Hecker Avenue, Darien, CT at 10:30 AM.
