Darien resident Malcolm H Brown lost his three-year battle to pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, Jan 2 at home  He was 59

Born April 2, 1953, Brookeborough, Northern Ireland, he was a son of the late William and Iris Brown

Mr Brown came to the United States in 1956  He was a graduate of Darien High School and was the owner of M H Brown Landscaping Services for 40 years

He was an avid outdoorsman and had a great love of hunting, fishing and boating  He was a member of the Darien Boat Club, a former member of the Darien Lions Club and Darien Fire Department

He is survived by his wife, Dale Brown and three children:  Jenifer Brown of Charleston, SC; Matthew Brown; and Todd Latham and his wife Debbie of all of Darien  He is also survived by two grandchildren:  Michael and Sarah Latham  Also surviving are two brothers, William Brown and his wife Mary; and David Brown and his wife Cathy; and nephews, Andrew, Christopher, Timothy, Austin and Ryan; and predeceased by Jonathan Brown

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Jan 11 from 4 to 8 pm at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Jan 12 at 11 am at Noroton Presbyterian Church, 2011 Post Road, Darien
