Michael Andrew McCormick passed away on March 7, 2024 in Sebastian, Florida. Mike was born on June 20,1945 in Bronx, NY. He was the son of Edwin and Helen McCormick of Commack, NY. After meeting his beloved wife, Diane Christman McCormick, in CT in 1968, they married and raised a family in Darien and New Canaan, CT. In retirement, Mike and Diane moved to FL to pursue a second career of residential re-developing. They moved continuously up and down the coast of FL before settling in Sebastian.
Mike was survived by his wife for a mere 9 days; sister, Patti McCormick DelPrete of Centerreach, and also his daughters, Kimberly McCormick Wolitarsky of Devon, PA and Kathryn MCormick Fox of Sebastian, FL. Michael was preceded in death by his two sons, Timothy McCormick and Christopher McCormick.
Diane Emily McCormick (Christman) passed away on March 17, 2024 in Sebastian, FL. Diane was born in Norwalk, CT on November 21,1947. Diane was the daughter of Warren and Ruth Christman of Darien, CT. Diane married Michael Andrew McCormick in 1968, and lived happily in Darien and New Canaan, CT as well as various towns in FL before settling in Sebastian.
Diane was preceded in death by her loving husband, as well as her sons, Timothy and Christopher. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly McCormick Wolitarsky of Devon, PA and Kathryn McCormick Fox of Sebastian, FL. She is survived by a brother, Gary Christman of North Carolina and sisters, Debbie Stuart of Marco Island, and Graciela Lopez of Darien, CT.
