Patricia Romanos Obituary
August 31, 1932 – January 19, 2025
Patricia Ann "Colombo" Romanos, fondly known to her family and friends as "Bebe", passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025. Born on August 31, 1932, she brought warmth and kindness to all who knew her.
"Bebe" is survived by her husband Paul Romanos. Paul and Bebe were high school sweethearts, and on December 26, 1953, Bebe married the love of her life. Together they celebrated a remarkable 71 years of marriage. Their commitment to one another served as a beacon of love, faith, and family unity throughout the decades. Bebe and Paul originally from Stamford and Darien, moved to Oxford, CT and Port Charlotte, FL.
Bebe was born into the Colombo family by Nicholas and Carrie, Bebe was 92. She was preceded in death by her sisters Marie Policastro, Carol Malizia, Micky Loglisci, and her brothers Conrad, William, and Joseph Colombo.
Bebe's devotion extended to her beloved children, Rosemary "Barry" Colangelo, Peter "Debra" Romanos, and Karen "Skip" Kaufman, who each carry forward her generosity of spirit and deep love for family. She was further blessed with eight grandchildren, Jason, Jonathan, Justin, Josh, Andrea, Spencer, James, and Megan, and three adored great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life Mass will be held at St. John Catholic Church in Darien, CT this coming Spring.
