Pedro Castillo Obituary
Pedro A Castillo died peacefully on October 9 surrounded by family after a brief illness
He is survived by his children, Pedro Castillo of New York, Miguel Castillo of Hilton Head, Ana Ericksen of Nantucket, their spouses, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Julia Falla Castillo, in 2004
He attended the University of Havana and the Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar He emigrated from Cuba with his family in 1960 and moved to Darien, Connecticut He enjoyed a successful career in finance as head of the Venture Capital Group at General Electric and as founder and chairman of Fairfield Venture Capital in Connecticut and California In 1993 he retired to Key Biscayne
