Rene Richard Charpiot, 80, of Springfield, VT died Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
He was born October 19, 1944 in Manhattan, New York City; the son of Rene G. and Joan (Thilo) Charpiot. Rene worked as a police officer in Darien, CT. He proudly served in the Army during Vietnam.
He was laid to rest in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center, VT on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 with Military Honors. The Day Funeral Home in Randolph, VT assisted with arrangements.
