RHOADS, Alexander Van Age 19, of Huber Heights, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 29, 2018. He was a 2017 graduate of Northmont High School and the Miami Valley Career Technology Center. He is survived by his parents: Stacy and Chris Gilson, Nathan Rhoads, Travis DePierre, brother: Keaton DePierre, grandparents: Dawson (Halane) DeShane, Barb (Scott) Montgomery, Janis DePierre, Skip and Cindy Gilson, great grandparents: George and Thelma Boone, aunts: Michele (Brian) Rowe, Wendy (Ron) Haire, uncles: Mitch (Caitie) DeShane, Jason DePierre, Nathan (Sara) DePierre, cousins: Parker and Braden Laubie, Camdyn, Brenleigh and Rowyn DeShane, Brandon, Izzy, Trevor, Jake and Lindsey Haire, Payne Richardson, paternal family: grandparents Jerry (Marilyn) Rhoads, Elaine (Mick) Hitchcock, great grandparents Elmo and Dorothy Hemmerich, aunt Rachel (Ryan) Sherwood, cousins Madelyn Dooley Rhoads and Eli Sherwood. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton.
