My Uncle Arnie's memorial was yesterday. It brought up so many memories. Most were of the stories he had with my beloved Daddy who passed 3 years ago. I know that was very painful to Arnie in addition to our family & my Dads friends. My favorite memory of Arnie was when I brought 4 friends to Put-In-Bay & Arnie invited us to come by his boat house on Lake Erie. He took us to a place to jet ski & after took us out on his boat. My friends & I had soooo much fun and it was a great experience with the man I always saw as my Uncle. The world lost a good man but what comforts me is that he's no longer in pain & he was greeted I'm sure by my Dad- they meant so much to each other.

I first met Arnie and his father when I transferred to Inland in the tool room. Some years later after Arnie was in the military, he ended up being my supervisor in our steering wheel engineering group. There we had a great group, accomplished much, and worked together well. I have tried to keep in touch with Arnie and Sylvia and enjoyed our interaction. He has always been a great guy and will be sadly missed, Glen and Jeanie Rarick - March 1, 2018

Arnie was a great friend. I miss all of the great times we had together when we both worked at Inland. Vacations we shared together in those days will never be forgotten. Sylvia sure found a great guy to share a life with.

I will miss my husband ,of almost 53 years. I will always remember all the "memories" we made, with our grandchildren and friends. He enjoyed his sister, Joyce Hanes, grandchildren also. They were all in some kind of sport and he tried to make it to many of the events. He had many friends which became my friends.

I'm sorry for your loss. Arnold and I were fraternity brothers and co-workers at Inland Division GM. He was one heck of an engineer and an outstanding individual. He will be missed.

I am so very sorry to hear this news. Arnie was my oldest friend. We lived two doors apart on Fauver and first met when we were both less than a year old. I have so many pictures of the two of us as well as the the old neighborhood gang. I'm so glad we reconnected ten years or so ago via email and that I had a chance to get together with him for lunch at Kramers last year. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Arnie's family and friends. I pray you all can find peace knowing his suffering is over.
