Barbara BACK Obituary
News Death Notice
BACK, Barbara Dianne "nee Overbay" age 64, of Washington Township passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 24, 2013. She was born on April 3, 1948 in La Follette, TN to William and Mae Overbay. She was the Vice-President of Rubber Tech Inc. for over 35 years. Barbara was known as the "General" of her family and always provided for and took great care of them. She enjoyed the arts and was a great supporter of the Dayton Performing Arts. Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Forest Sr.; children, Leah (Ronald) Lark of Miami Township, OH, Forest Jr. (Wendy) Back of Butler Township, OH and William "BJ" (Hilary) Back of Vandalia; grandchildren, Blayre, Ryan, Sharonda, Damion, Ashton and Hyacinth; sister, Wilma Jean Bond; and dearest friends, Marilyn, Jeannette, Cynthia, Julie, Lisa, Daisy and Kelly. Family will greet friends on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 1:00 - 2:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Funeral service will begin at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Deacon Bill Moore officiating. Committal service to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. A reception will be held following the committal service at Presidential Banquet Center, 4548 Presidential Way, Kettering, OH 45429. Condolences may be sent to the family by signing the guestbook at www.routsong.com.

I remember Barb being a big Sister when I was 10 years old, I was so proud to have her come over a spend the night, listening to me playing my 45's on the record player. I always felt she was my friend and cousin.

We lost a family member who impacted soo many lives!! She was bluntly honest, wise, smart, caring, and anyone who met her wanted to call her friend/mom!!! Her legacy will live on for she has created sooo many ripples through soo many loves... you will be loved & mised terribly!!! To ALL surviving family & friends I am sorry for your catastrophic loss and she loved you all and was extremely proud to call you family/friends!!!
