Ms. Barbara made a lasting impression on me. I think about her all the time. I carry her Battle Cry prayer card in my wallet. I display my Johnny Was blanket proudly & it brings me joy & comfort. Her family is carrying her legacy beautifully. I pray for their strength & well-being often. I am better for having met Ms. Barbara. Her impact on my life is everlasting. God bless!

Barbara was fiercely protective of her loved ones, a bulldog when it came to getting things accomplished, and clear in her goals to make good things happen for the community. She was vibrant, caring, and loyal. I know she made a vast and deep impact on those she encountered. She will be missed.

I was in Barbara's class at Miami Valley and was always in awe of her then. I remember her working on her wedding dress before we graduated. You were all blessed to have her as the matriarche of your family.

Wow! This is a fantastic summary of an amazing woman´s incredible life. I fell in love with Miss Barbara, instantly. We were sisters in Christ. You didn´t have to look far to see symbols of her deep faith. I saw a couple of devotional books at her side that I owned myself. I loved her sweet, gentle spirit. She was also courageous. She was both the lion and the lamb, just like our Lord. I could not assist her full-time in her recovery, but promised that I would find the next best thing. I prayed about it & God instantly put my friend, Pam, on my mind. I knew that she would be a perfect match for Miss Barbara and vice versa. Everything fell into place perfectly, because God truly is a way maker. I feel at peace knowing that such a generous soul like Miss Barbara was cared for so generously and selflessly when she needed it most. I feel so blessed to know her & to have played a small part in her life. I will never forget her. She was so strong, giving, and faithful. I will keep her loving family in my prayers. I know that their hearts are heavy as they joyfully celebrate the wonderful life of their beloved Curls. When things settle down, Michelle, David, Kristen & Brett, I hope that y´all continue the celebration at Walt Disney World & Universal Studios in your mom´s honor. We bonded over Star Wars, Harry Potter and all things Disney.
Yours in Christ,
