Bertha Gamsu Obituary
News Death Notice
GAMSU, Bertha "Bert" age 95, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Brookhaven Care Center. Bert was a member of Beth Jacob Synagogue, Hadassah, B'nai Brith, The Order of True Sisters, and volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney in 2006; sister, Mary Davis; and brothers, Charles, Samuel & Perry Gerson. Bert is survived by her daughter, Barbara Gamsu of Clayton; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside service 1:30 PM Friday April 25, 2008 at Beth Jacob Cemetery, 4001 Old Troy Pike with Rabbi Dr. Hillel Fox officiating. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Beth Jacob Synagogue in Bert's memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Homes, North Main St. Chapel.

Barb,
I know your mother's quality of life was not there for some years, but I also know one is never prepared for the lose of a loved one, especially one's mother. Bert was very special to me, I will always remember her with gladness.
