Beryl Moore Obituary


News Death Notice

MOORE, Beryl D. 86, of Jamestown, went to meet her Lord, Sunday morning, September 20, 2009 after a battle with cancer. Beryl was born on January 12, 1923, in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, the daughter of Clay Arnold and Vesta Fannin Moore. Beryl was a graduate of Ross High School in Jamestown. She worked at Peters & Russells and later ITT in Springfield for over 40 years. Beryl attended Possum Road Church of God in Springfield, Ohio for many years until she was physically unable to attend. She was a devoted Christian and loving family member. She freely gave to her church, her family, and anyone in need. Beryl was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Clayton J. Moore. She is survived by one sister, Jacqueline J. Osman who shared her home with her, one niece, Marsha (Charles) Steele, Xenia and 2 grandnieces, Amy (Brian) Crawford, Xenia and Sharon (Felipe) Rubio, Xenia, and their children, Kaitlyn and Isaac Crawford and Carissa Rubio, Xenia. Services will be held at 10am, Friday, September 25, 2009, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday. Burial will be in Silvercreek Township Cemetery, Jamestown.
