I met Betty in the mid-nineties through her great son Aaron. I immediately felt a strong love connection with her and knew right then I would never forget her. I was invited into her home, where she and her family made me feel welcome. I eventually started calling her my second mom. I am so glad that she allowed me into her life.
Betty - Please know you were loved by many and you will definitely be missed by all. Thoughts and prayers to all the family.

I met Bette through my cousin, Ruie Spurlock. I believe I've only met Bette in person one time but through the beauty of facebook...I feel like I've known her for a very long time. Through her pictures and posts, we could all feel the love she had for her family and friends. I'm so sorry for your loss...keeping all of you in my prayers.

Aaron, Eric, Linda, Mike & Vickie, My heart goes out to you and your families. Bette was a very special cousin to me. We teased each other about being twin cuzins. No matter how many years between visits, it was always as if we had never been apart. I will love and miss her forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Stll reeling from the sudden loss of this lovely courageous woman, great mom and fabulous grandma to our beloved Keira. I am grateful that my precious Meg had a Mother- in-law that was so good to her and so loved by herl My love as always to Eric, Bette's best gift to all of us! Special sympathy to Aaron, Rui and the rest of loving family.
