Bob was my father's first cousin. I have early childhood memories of my uncle as being kind and soft-spoken. To this day I think of him when I see turtles because he impressed me as a child with his cool turtle tank in his living room. I also remember how he would refinish furniture in his basement. He would take an old discarded piece of furniture that had no value in anyone else's eyes and painstakingly refinish it until it was beautiful once again. My deepest sympathies are with his family. Please take comfort in knowing that there is a special place for him in heaven.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you, Wes and Megan, on the passing of your father. Wes, thank you for your service to our country. I remember when you were still in high school, you told me that you would drive an Abrams tank one day; and that you did. Your dad was extremely proud of you, I know. My wife and I spent a lot of good, personal time with your dad, and he became true friends of ours. He liked the extremely strong coffee we drank as well as the cookies, cakes, and desserts Debby would make. A vivid memory I have of him is one cold, windy, rainy miserable day in October when we went to play golf at River Bend. I think we were the only 2 people on the course that day. He had insisted on going, because I had just gotten new golf clubs for my birthday and he wanted me to try them out; "that" was your dad. He was just another resident when he contacted me to set up Neighborhood Watch groups in your neighborhood, through which I encouraged him to become more involved in his community. The rest is history. Saddened by his passing, we are also saddened by losing contact with your family after retirement, and moving from Moraine. You can be proud, and inspired, by the legacy your father left for you. May you benefit always from the memories of him.

Megan and Wes,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. What a terrible shock. He was so full of life and energy and so proud of everything you did. I always enjoyed talking to him when he came into the store and he kept me updated on all that was new with you. It was always great to hear about my former students doing so well. He was so excited to be a grandpa and came back to my counter twice that day to make the announcement (it was a busy day). I am so sorry for your loss. He surely will be missed by everyone who knew him. You were lucky to have had such a great dad.

Dear Rosencrans Family and Friends,
You are in the thoughts of so many, including, I know, everyone who worked with Bob at Bowser-Morner, including me.
Bob was very kind and helpful to me, and he always made me laugh. I will always think of Wednesdays as Bob's "pink-shirt day," and I admired his resilience and unwavering spirit.
Every time I needed a funny or endearing story about a coworker who was retiring, Bob always came through.
Above all else, he loved his kids and his beloved grandchild, and it was wonderful to see.
I wish you comfort in your favorite memories of Bob. You undoubtedly have many.

To the family of Bob Rosencrans. I first want offer my condolence to you by saying how deeply sorry I am for your lost. I will also tell you that the husband, father and friend that we all knew and loved is at peace and rest. We ask ourselves why this happened but I can tell you that there is one that knows the reason and his name is Jesus. I want to leave you with this verse in the bible John 14:1-3 that simply says, "Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you,I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." So to the family, my God bless you ,keep and comfort you and give you His peace in the days ahead is my prayer.
