News Death Notice
SHELLS, Jr. Brandon E. "BJ" age 18, of Dayton, born November 4, 1994, transitioned October 26, 2013. Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Shells and James Lewis. Survived by his father, Brandon Shells Sr.; mother, Crystal Shells; sister, Ciara Shells; brother, Parker Shells; grandmothers, Cynthia Lewis and Jackie Shells; great grandmother, Florence Shells; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, November 4, 2013 at Deliverance Temple Ministries, 80 E. Nottingham Rd. Apostle Sheila Morrow officiating. Interment West Memory Gardens. Visitation from 9 to 11 am. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. There are no words to say, no deeds to do, just prayers to God for taking care of you (him). Now, we have to pray for all the loss and emptiness to share, which at times we think is more than we can bare. Just remember all the wondrous hugs and smiles we had along the way, they will forever be more to us each day. He is waiting for you, so for now, live each day fully til then, awaiting thos wonderous hugs and smiles again!

I'm sorry to read about Brandon's death. Losing a loved one at such a young age has to be difficult to endure. However, you can find comfort in knowing that God cares for you and he can heal your broken hearts. - Ps. 147:3; 1 Pet. 5:7.

Jackie, and family, I know that there are no words that can really help to ease the loss you are feeling right now, just know that you are very close in my thoughts and my prayers. Only GOD can heal the hurt you all feel at this time, words will never fill the void that your heart holds for him, but overtime GOD will comfort you through HIS Holy Spirit, and give you peace. Know that GOD makes no mistakes in HIS doings, HE is the giver of life, as well as the taker of life, and know that BJ is now resting in the arms of our savior JESUS CHRIST. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the LORD. May GOD give each of strength to endure and continue on going as you transition thru life without your loved one. Crystal & family, I am praying for your strength during your time of loss. Brandon was a sweet young man. I was his teachers aide 1st & 2nd grade and I saw him when he first started at meadowdale. He had grown into a handsome young man. Cherish your memories as I will cherish mine. It always hurts more to bury your child, as ive experienced myself, but know that God is able & when u cant find the strength within yourself to get through another day, He will carry u.
