Calvin VEASLEY Obituary
News Death Notice
VEASLEY, Calvin age 63 of Dayton, departed this life on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at his residence. Calvin graduated from Roosevelt High School, class of 1969 and was a Veteran of the U. S. Air force. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Adelle Morgan and a brother, Bernarr L. Morgan. He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Sharon Lee Veasley; children: Calvin A., Vashti M. and Sean R. Veasley; grandchildren, Kiana M., Kameron M. and Jahzir S. Veasley, Sophie Frack and Saniya Swift; sister, Drucilla Veasley of Dayton; brother, Fredric P. Morgan of Dayton; nephews, Fredric L. Morgan of Dayton and Fredric P. Morgan II of Quincy, ILL; sisters-in-law, Deborah (Joseph) Hector, Janet (Ray) Hebert, Carla Goddard and Rochelle Tyler, all of St. John, New Brunswick; brother-in-law, Joseph (Hazel) Tyler of St. John, New Brunswick; special family friend, Mattie Rankin; mother of the children, LaToyia Weaver, and a host of other relatives and friends, including his beloved dog, "Romero". Funeral service 11:00 A.M., WEDNESDAY, December 11, 2013 at PEOPLES COMMUNITY CME CHURCH, 2525 N. Gettysburg Ave., with Reverend Bruce W. Burns Sr., officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: Dayton National Cemetery.
