1965 - 2019

CARL, Carole K. 53, of Springfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born October 18, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Jerry R. and Kathleen (Hilbert) Carl. Carole graduated from Town and Country in 1985. She worked for TAC Industries for 30 years and later for Downsize Farms in Woodstock, Ohio. Survivors include her mother, Kathy Carl; two sisters, Mary Beth Schmitt and Melissa & Lonnie Detrick; four nieces and nephews, Joshua and Megan Schmitt and Kyle and Paige Sharp. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Carl in 2006, her maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Forest Glen and Kindred Hospice for all their wonderful care and to all the family and friends for their support. Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
