News Death Notice
BARKER, Curtis Harvey Age 79 of Vandalia passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 in his residence. He was born in Elliott County, Kentucky on September 19, 1936 the son of James Harvey & Mary Faye (Henson) Barker. He retired from General Motors in 1998 after 32 years and was a member of the Amvets Post 99. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Anna Lee (Chandler) Barker, son Brian (Theresa) Barker, daughter Pamela (Jonny) Bates, grandsons Michael (Julia) Barker and Jason (Tiffany) Albertini, great grandson Xander Albertini, sisters Zelma Rice and Velma Gordon, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm in the BLESSING-ZERKLE FUNERAL HOME, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
