David Driscoll Obituary
News Death Notice
DRISCOLL, David James Age 20, of Washington Township, OH passed away unexpectedly February 8, 2009 in Harrison Township, OH. David is a 2007 graduate of Centerville High School and presently attending Sinclair Community College majoring in Mechanical Engineering. His plans were to continue his education at University of Cincinnati majoring in Aerospace Engineering. He loved spending time in the woods surrounded by nature. David is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. David is survived by his parents; Michael and Gretchen (Krug) Driscoll, one brother; Robert Driscoll and fiancé Amy Elix both of Cincinnati, OH; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. A private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ones favorite charity in Davids name. Condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family at www.routsong.com.

It is truly a tragedy to see such a great life come to a tragic and sudden end. I have known David since we were really young. From the days of playing basketball on my old driveway on Waterford Dr. to hanging out at Centerville High School, there are memories that will never be forgotten. David was a great friend and a great person to be around. He always smiled and always knew the right thing to say when I was having a bad day. He will be missed. To the parents, I will continue to pray that God will strengthen you as you go through this difficult period in life. My heart goes out to you. You are all in my prayers. God Bless You!

Dear Mike and Gretchen,
I am deeply saddened by your loss of David. No parent should see their child go before them. I can only imagine the emptyness you feel and pray that time will heal the feelings but not dim the memories. Treasure the time you were given with such a fine young man, I could hear the pride in you voice when you spoke of him. He was truly a great gift to your family. My heart goes out to you.

Dear Friends of David: On behalf of my entire family, thank you for your thoughts and prayers. The loss of David is not one that will be ever be forgotten. We ask that all of you keep him in your thoughts and prayers and when the time comes to stand for him in court, we'll need everyone's support and if possible your presence so that the judge clearly understands the grief caused to his family and friends. I dont know what to say. I am sure the im sorrys are getting even more depressing. I wanted to call but then i really wouldnt know what to say. I loved David so much, he has taught me so much about myself and life in general! He was a truly amazing and caring individual. He walked with me for at least an hour to find my car after school. I can say so many things about him, but you guys already know he was AWESOME! If there is anything i can do for any of you please just let me know. I may be far away but like i said i loved david and he would have done anything for me so if you need anything ill do my best to get it for you! Im so so very sorry!

I am so sorry for your lost. When I heard about Davids death and then looked him up on the internet my heart skipped a beat when I saw his Uncle Bob in his eyes.
