News Death Notice

SHADE, Jr., David C. passed away unexpectedly at home on Sept. 28, 2013. He is survived by his children, Tyler, Alexandra, & Emma Shade & their mother, Joane, of Germantown; David Shade III of New Lebanon; his wife, Michelle also of New Lebanon; parents, David & Carol Shade; sister, Tracy (Rick) Boyer, brother, Chris (Stacy) Shade of Germantown; step-daughter, Taylor Pogue; nieces, Alyssa Cencebaugh & Ashlee Lindsay & nephews, Matt Cencebaugh, Travis Cencebaugh & Hunter Shade. He was preceded in death by his niece, Grace Ann Shade; maternal grandparents, Paul Roberts & Catherine Roberts & paternal grandparents, Grace & Pete Shade. David was a 1989 graduate of Valley View High School & a member of FOE 2292. He had worked as a plumber since graduation from MCJVS in 1989. David dearly loved his family & especially his children. Services will be held at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home in Germantown, Ohio. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Oct 2, 2013 from 5-8 pm & the funeral on Thursday, Oct 3, at 10:30 am. Pastor Todd Velte officiating ,interment at the Germantown Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to a memorial fund in David's name at The First National Bank of Germantown or to the Germantown Rescue Squad. I'm so sorry for your loss David was one of my best friends, You raised a wonderful son with a heart of gold.Cherish the memories he brought your way and remember he will always be looking out for you as you go through life! I prayed every day to god to take his away pain.I will miss him so much!! He was always there for Adam and I no matter what we needed help with. Again i wish i had done more for him!
