GABBARD, Deborah Sue Age 68 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on December 16, 2018. Deborah was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 6, 1950 to Albert Meeker Jr. and Ida Louise (Chapman) Meeker. Deborah was a graduate of Taft High School in Hamilton. She worked for Rumpke for 29 years as a Warranty Administrator. Her life revolved around her son Shane and her animals. Deborah touched each and every one of us throughout her life and she will sadly be missed. Deborah is survived by one son, Shane Gabbard; one grandson, Clinton Patrick Rose of Hamilton; a long time friend, Harold "Buddy" McGhee; also she leaves behind two kittens, Harper Rose and Harley. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Sharon Connaughton; and her beloved dog, Jake. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will follow at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, at 7pm with Rev. Rodney Jones officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Animal Friends Humane Society.
