News Death Notice

ROHRER, Dennis Eugene Age 58, of Brookville, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ruth Rohrer and mother-in-law Nadine Ledbetter. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He retired from Dayton Progress after 29 years as a machinist. He was actively involved in competitive shooting, enjoyed boating at Celina and Cumberland with his family. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Roxy Rohrer; son, Dennis Rohrer Jr.; daughters, Rachelle (Jeremy) Selby and Heather (Scott) Goodpaster; 5 grandchildren, David Rohrer, Haley and Emma Goodpaster, Jackson (his buddy) and Olivia Selby, all of Brookville; father -in-law, Bobby Ledbetter; 2 brothers, Doug (Debbie) Rohrer and Rob Rohrer, both of Lewisburg; sister, Peggy (Bob) Baker, of Pleasant Hill; Michael Barbian and family; 2 special friends, Harley Bowser and Wayne Sharp. The family will receive friends 3:00-4:00 pm Fri., May 3, at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Memorial Service, 4:00 pm Fri., May 3, at the funeral home. He was my grandpa, in April, it will be 10 years since he's passed away. But it feels like everyday he passes away to me. I miss you, I'll never forget you.
