FRANTZ, Donald E., Sr. 77, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 16, 2004 at the Dayspring Nursing Home, Enon, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Neva Frantz and grandson Brian Doll. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Erma "Lois" Frantz of Beavercreek, sons and daughters-in-law Don II and Sue Frantz of Wilmington, Ohio, Jeffrey Sr. and Lisa Frantz of Beavercreek; daughters and son-in-law Cathy and Pete Doll of Topeka, Kansas, Pam Herbert and Dave Smith of Nashport, Ohio, grandchildren Beth Frantz, Kim Bailey and her husband Nick, Jenny Frantz, Debbie Frantz, Jeff Frantz II, Stephanie Seales, Chris Herbert, Andy Herbert, Michael Herbert, great grandchildren Michael Bailey, Cole Bailey and Braeden McNelley. He was a graduate of South High School, Class of 1944, Columbus, Ohio, graduate of Ohio State University, Class of 1948, was a Varsity "0" manager of the Ohio State football team and the baseball team, retired from Corco Inc. as a Vice President of Personnel Services in Columbus, retired from the Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Parkersburg, W. Virginia, retired from the National Church Residences in Columbus, was a member of the Beavercreek Rotary Club, a longtime member of the United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at the Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Rev. Brooks Heck officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Monday. Additional visitation will be from 1:30- 2:30 PM Tuesday at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Chapel with a Committal Service at 2:30 PM Tuesday. Contributions may be made to the United Rehabilitation Services or Hospice of Dayton in his memory.
