Family-Placed Obituary

ROBERTSON, Donald Thomas Age 57, of Trotwood, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, November 3, 2005 at his home. He is preceded in death by his mother Jessie M. Robertson. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Chris (Price) Robertson; his father Dr. Frank S. Robertson; sister and her soulmate Betsy Robertson and Wally Steiner; brothers Frank C. Robertson Jr. and his wife Jan; Rich Robertson; daughters Rebecca and Mindy Robertson; mother-in-law Allene Scott; special nieces; a nephew and many more dear friends. Don was a lifelong avid amateur astronomer, a dedicated bibliophile, a Civil War enthusiast and an active member of the Compuserve Civil War Forum. Don loved classical music, opera and recently became a fan of performer Jimmy Buffet. He was a 1970 graduate of the University of Missouri at Rolla and formerly worked for Rohm & Haas in West Alexandria as an R & D chemist. His last employment was at Miami University-Middletown in the Center for Chemistry Education. He was the founding leader of The Agra Treasurers, a Scion Society of the Baker Street Irregulars. Don will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He will be forever loved as the wonderful man that he was. A memorial celebration of Don's life will be held at a later date. If desired, contributions may be made to the Civil War Preservation Trust, 11 Public Square, Suite 200, Hagerstown, Md, 21740, in memory of Don. Services entrusted to the ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, NEW LEBANON.
